We approach projects with a long term perspective. Often our projects include third party professional management to assure accountability and performance to exacting standards.
We act as Stewards not just for the project, but for our team of lenders, investors, families and public sector partners. |
Environment |
Evergreen Housing is also a committed Steward of the environment. Buildings consume over half of our nation’s energy. They contribute more to global warming than the automobile.
We have set standards to be more responsible to the environment and each other.
Evergreen Housing LIHTC projects include environmentally sensitive detailing like double pane windows and doors, energy efficient appliances, energy saving and motion detector lighting and even energy saving elevators.
Through local utility companies we often earn rebates and energy tax credits that reduce operating costs and protect the world we live in. |

We coordinate our projects with non-profit social services, so families are able to find a home AND receive essential services they need. It is part of our community thinking.
Government Agencies :: Government Agencies are another link to families that need housing. We work closely with The Washington State Housing Financing Commission (WSHFC) and the Oregon Housing Commission to provide homes for people.
